1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Split Bro ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Split Bro application as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto. You agree that by accessing the application, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

2. User Registration

You may be required to register with the application. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the application for any purpose other than that for which we make the application available. The application may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us. Prohibited activities include:

• Systematically retrieving data or other content from the application to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
• Making any unauthorized use of the application, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email, or creating user accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.
• Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security-related features of the application.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, Trojan horses, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming, that interferes with any party's uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the application.

4. Financial Transactions Disclaimer

Split Bro is exclusively a tracking and calculation tool designed to help users manage shared expenses. We are not a payment processor, bank, money transmitter, or financial institution.

Any financial settlements between users are made outside the application and are strictly between the users involved. We do not hold funds, process transactions, or guarantee that any user will pay their calculated debts. We are completely indemnified from any disputes, unpaid debts, lost funds, or fraudulent activities occurring between users outside of the application.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the application is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the application (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.

6. Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the application at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our application. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the application without notice at any time.
